About Embarka
Embarka is an AI trip planner for families: it builds a realistic day-by-day itinerary around your kids, then shows what to book, check and change before you pay.
Who it is for
Parents planning a trip with young kids, grandparents or several households, who want a plan that fits naps, short walks and everyone’s energy, and who want a second adult to review it before booking.
What it does
- Turns one sentence (for example “Portugal in July with a toddler”) into a day-by-day plan, with times, places and a protected nap or rest window when young kids are coming.
- Labels each day with its pace, walking distance, nap time and whether it works with a stroller.
- Lists what to book now, soon or later, and flags booking risks before money is spent.
- Shows an estimated trip budget and a switch to see flights paid with credit card points.
- Shares a read-only link so a spouse, grandparent or friend can review the plan and leave feedback. People you invite to the trip can also vote between options for part of a day.
- Suggests swapping days when rain is forecast on an outdoor day; the trip owner approves before anything changes.
- Has a trip-day view with what to pack for the day, and a photo recap you can share after the trip.
- Can audit a plan you already have (from an article, a spreadsheet or another app) instead of starting from scratch.
What it does not do
- It does not book flights, hotels or tickets. You book with the airline, hotel or travel site you choose.
- It does not show live prices. Budgets are estimates to plan with, not quotes.
- It does not connect to bank or credit card accounts. Card names are optional and only used for suggestions.
